Introducing BLINK!
A Personal Safety/Security app that connects Good Samaritans to people who need help, nearby. Read on to know more.

We believe there is an urgent need for people to stand up and start helping each other in times of need. BLINK is an effort to achieve this.
Put simply, BLINK is a COMMUNITY Safety App, that tells you when someone nearby needs your help.
BLINK uses state of the art algorithms that find and match people who can help each other in a time of need. We have put a lot of thought into this app, so that you don’t have to. All you do, if you are ever in trouble, is push the power button on your phone 5 times, without even taking the phone out of your pocket. BLINK users nearby will receive your position and a ten second audio clip from your device. Rest assured, your personal data is safe and will not be shared with anyone, ever.
The go-to App for Good Samaritans
If you’re the Good Samaritan who agreed to help someone in need, kudos to you! This app will make it really simple to find a person you agreed to help. There is a simple map view/chat engine that allows you to view and chat with other users (and the person in need of help) who agreed to help. You can also see the location of nearby Police stations and Hospitals. Again, your personal data is not shared with anyone, ever. If you are the kind of person who thrives on helping people out, this is the App for you.
Looking for a "Women’s Safety" App?
This is NOT a Women's Safety App. *WOMEN* don't need saving. *HUMANITY* does. You don’t have to be a woman to be attacked, and you don’t need to be a man to reach out and help someone. This is an app for those who care, who are done blaming the system. Let's start looking out for each other.
Important Note: Please DO NOT try to get into a physical altercation with an attacker. The idea is to just show up in numbers in such situations, and inform the police if the need arises. Always stay at a safe distance!
